Legend has it that this sinister hole in the earth was enough to send shivers down any sane parent’s spine, a boogeyman in rocky form, poised to snatch away any unsuspecting child who dared to step inside. But in 1999, two brave mates decided to flip the script on fear.

Ten-year-old James Thompson, a spirited lad with a nose for trouble, joined forces with his sidekick Josh Brown, eager to bust the myths and unearth what lay within the cave's dark embrace. What they stumbled upon wasn’t just eeriness and shadows, but remnants of a long-forgotten scientific experiment from 1992 — a hodgepodge of wires, beakers, and a little something extra that zapped James with more than just a hidden jolt. A shocking twist indeed!

Survive he did, but oh, the aftermath was a doozy! Instead of just a singed fringe, James unlocked a realm of strange abilities we like to dub “Dream Reality”. Suddenly, he could glimpse the past, present, and future all while munching on his Vegemite toast. Talk about a breakfast of champions! But it came at a price; hauntings of prophetic dreams crept into his nightly slumber, including a chilling foresight of his father’s death.

Fast forward four years, and our now-teenage hero finds himself in a fresh pickle. He spies flames licking the walls of his high school, ignited by a shadowy stranger—one that had also set its sights on abducting Josh’s younger brother, Paul. Yikes!

With visions guiding him like a trusty GPS, James pieced together a tapestry woven with the threads of their parents' childhoods, reminding us all that history has a maddening way of repeating itself. Armed with courage and a few kooky powers, James dove headfirst into a twisted tale of nostalgia and celebrity fluff.
