About D.J. Brand

D.J. Brand World was founded in 2025 by D.J. Brand, the author behind The Dark Secret of Ian’s Peak series. Born and raised in Lynwood, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, D.J. Brand has nurtured a passion for storytelling since his early years.

In 1979, he relocated to Northam to be closer to his father’s work as a shearer. While attending Northam Senior High School, D.J. continued to develop his writing skills and generate story ideas. One of his early concepts involved a character who, after being electrocuted by a power line, discovers he has powers with the ability to see visions of the future.
